As a chip tuning provider with the highest quality expectations towards the products we develop, we think it’s natural that our chip tuning modules are offered with their own engine warranty. Our engine warranty covers all relevant engine components, such as the engine block, cylinder head, cylinder liner, piston, crankshaft, crankshaft sprocket, camshaft, camshaft sprocket, connecting rod, all interior parts that are connected to the oil circuit, engine valve, valve guide, crank case, intake manifold, oil pan, drive shaft, axle drive shaft etc.
However, the warranty only applies for vehicles that are licensed in Germany.
If, contrary to our expectations, our product would cause any damage, Speed-Buster covers the actual and verifiable repair costs starting from the very first Euro, without any personal contribution on your part!

This means, that every product undergoes different tests before it leaves our site. From the development up to the production, everything is handled directly on our site. Only in this way can we exert the necessary influence on the manufacturing processes and offer optimum quality.
Therefore, our clients receive a product warranty that exceeds the legal warranty rights upon the purchase of a Speed-Buster BoxPRO and a Speed-Buster BoxPLUS. If, despite our strict quality controls, one of our performance electronics should be faulty, you are always on the safe side with Speed-Buster.

Duty of registration for chip tuning
A performance enhancement of the vehicle via chip tuning or respectively via additional control modules, must be inscribed in the official car documentation, in Germany. The use of a performance enhancement without a change acceptance procedure carried out by an officially recognised test facility (TUEV, DEKRA or a similar institution) has the consequence of a complete loss of the General Operating License.
Therefore, Speed-Buster offers most of its products with a parts appraisal, with which you can have your performance enhancement inscribed by any officially recognised test facility. For vehicles, where no parts appraisal is available the inscription must be carried out with an individual acceptance by an officially recognised test facility. You can ask for the incurring costs directly at your official test facility.
Warranty claims and warranties of the vehicle manufacturer
The use of performance enhancements can lead to the loss of warranties or the loss of the duty of warranty by the vehicle manufacturer or the vehicle seller. Therefore, any Speed-Buster Chiptuning Box contains its own engine warranty. Consequently, with Speed-Buster you are always on the safe side.
Insurance coverage
The performance enhancement of motorised vehicles requires a new typification regarding the motorised vehicle liability insurance and the comprehensive insurance. It is the duty of the purchaser himself to ensure the compliance with any insurance protection needs. The seller pledges to inform the purchasers about any possible consequences as described above regarding installation or resale.
