Chiptuning vs. Tuningbox
The performance enhancement by Speed-Buster is delivered in the form of an additional control device, that is inserted in between the engine control and the sensors. This is different from classic chip tuning, where the manufacturer software is changed or overwritten via a direct intervention in the engine control and the electronics of the car manufacturer. In principle, in both approaches the performance enhancement is reached by an optimisation of the electronic signals. Real time data processing supported by microprocessors as well as vehicle specific characteristic diagrams optimise various parameters, such as the injection volume, boost pressure etc. and increase the engine torque and engine performance up to 30%. Depending on the driving style, an efficient fuel-usage and consumption-saving of about 0,8l/100km can be reached.
Classic chip tuning
Active and mostly permanent overwriting of the manufacturer’s software
Manufacturer’s engine protection programmes oftentimes deactivated
Tuning often exceeds the stress limits of the engine
Complicated assembly with special equipment at the tuner’s
Removable, but only at great expense and cost – traceable, permanent |
Speed-Buster® Chiptuning Box
Optimisation of the manufacturer’s software without overwriting it
All engine protection programmes are preserved
Tuning only within the stress limits of the engine
Easy self-assembly without any special equipment in about 10 minutes
Easy, quick and 100% removable |
